After each day, I would always slip into the robes or loungewear provided in the room to relax, but I noticed a common limitation: these garments were only meant to be worn indoors. Whether I needed to walk to a nearby café, convenience store, or simply step onto the balcony to enjoy the breeze, I always felt uneasy.

On an unexpected trip to Zhejiang, China—one of the starting points of the Silk Road, with remarkable textile craftsmanship and a rich cultural history—I was deeply captivated by the exquisite patterns and profound meaning of traditional silk. However, it was during this journey that the idea for creating CICADAHOME truly began to take shape, blending my experiences from traveling the world over the years.
